Elgin Caliber 12 Automatic 43mm New Old Stock Full Set Chronograph 1970 Steel

One of the best watches that Elgin ever made it harkens from a time when makers tried different case shapes with regularity. This rounded cushion square case is a modernist beauty, with signal orange chronograph hands.

In collector grade condition with its full set. Diameter: 43 mm w/out crown, 44 mm w/crown, 40 mm lug to lug. Lug Width: 24 mm at the lugs tapering to 24 mm (will take a 24 mm strap). Case: Stainless steel brushed case with left hand crown and right hand pushers, heavy steel screw back caseback.

Dial: Silver with outer black tachymeter applied chapter, black subdials, orange chronograph hands, white hands with orange tips. Condition: 98% (9.8 of 10).
