Men's Elgin watch totally rebuilt with NOS Elgin case, dial and hands

This was "rebuilt" to mimic IDENTICALLY an Elgin 7 jewel watch from the 1930's, using new/Old Stock Elgin case, new dial, new hand and new band with a movement that was selected for accuracy. Elgin had a theme to their 7 jewel watches.

Elgin used this theme in stark colors, or a blending of colors of silver and gold tones to make their less expensive watches more appealing. I always thought it worked well. They are collectible in themselves as a niche.

Here, you have complete black and white colors that dramatically radiate on your wrist when you look at the time. The back of the case is like a mirror, with small undamaged ridges along the circumference.
