NOS 2003 Ikea Blimp Kullig Panton Style Bubble Panel Wall Mirrors, 2 Damaged

This is a set of 4 Blimp Kullig IKEA brand wall mirror tiles made in India in 2003. They're a great item, but unfortunately this lot has some pretty significant issues. First, all of the panels have some light scuffing on the surface of the bubbles just from contact with the bags (just like a little bit of cloudiness in the mirror glass). You can see that up close at an angle, but cannot when you are a foot or two away from the panels. And all have a little bit of color loss on the edges of the edge pieces (not the panel faces), which we imagine is a manufacturing issue with the painting. As far as the two red panels, those are their only issues - they are in great, new condition beyond those very minor issues. The two blue panels, however, also have cracks.

One blue panel has a fairly minor crack in one corner. But the other has cracks on both sides, and one is VERY significant - the whole edge piece has cracked away from the panel body. Because of that, that panel cannot be hung with the IKEA original hanging hardware absent repair - it would need to be glued back together to use the IKEA hardware or hung with alternative hardware. So, in sum, these are great modernist mirror panels that are now very tough to find.

We have no doubt that once hung, this set would look phenomenal. Each panel comes with its original bag, instructions, and mounting hardware. The panels are all 12 inches by 12 inches.
