For your consideration is a, mint, NOS Parker 180. The 180, introduced in 1976, was a pen that was intended to give the user two pens in one. The pen can be rotated 180 degrees and the nib will then provide, a different width.
This pen is fun to use. This is an elegant 18KT, gold plated, Imperial. The pattern etched in the metal is groups of lines separated by blank areas. I have another listing, currently running, if you prefer a XFine-Medium nib. Each 180 has a 14kt nib and a convertor and is ready to use. The pens are slender but have good balance. I have a friend who is 6' 6 tall and enjoys his 180 Flighter set, immensely. This is a fun-to-use pen. I also have a matching 180 Imperial ball pen in another listing. The ball pen is cap-actuated and is a clone of the 75 ball pen, but for the smooth tassie sides versus the ribbed sides of the 75 BP. It is also slightly slimmer. Please see the images for a good view of the pen.I also, have two 180 Flighters currently listed. No box or papers included. I cannot find any karat marking on the nib. But, I personally tested it and it tests no less than 14KT. The item "Parker 180 Imperial Fountain Pen NOS 14K F-Br Nib Mint" is in sale since Monday, August 27, 2012.
