RARE TEXSWISS PROSPEC MENS 100M MILITARY COMPASS WATCH SWISS NEW OLD STOCK withBOX

Super rare Prospec Texswiss Compass watch. New, old stock, in unworn condition. Last year, I acquired a bunch of Prospec branded watches from a watchmaker's estate (see 2 other models listed for sale also). I can find very little information about the brand. This Compass watch seems to have been made by Texswiss and branded under various names.

I have found various examples, online, of the same or similar watch, often in different colors, some all steel, etc.... With various brand names: Hamilton, Swiss Army, Texswiss, Hewlett Packard, Horoswiss, Benzie, Oris, etc. This is example is in old stock, unsold, unworn condition. Comes with the original box and outer cardboard sleeve.

The watch has built in compass, and watch face that rotates to expose the compass. Basically, there are two layers. The watch rotates clockwise to expose the compass. There is a locking mechanism (near the date position) that hinges to lock the watch in place.

The crown is at the 6 o'clock position of the watch. The movement is Swiss ETA 955.112. There was no battery in the watch when I opened it, so there is no worry about corrosion from an old battery.

The watch also has a screwdown crown, rotating bezel (uni-directional), and is rated for 100m water resistance. Case size is 47.5 mm (measured across from 9 to 3 direction). Measured diagonally (smallest dimension, from 10:30 to 4:30 direction) it is 42 mm.

There is some light discoloration on the hands, presumably just due to age. All photos shown are of the actual watch you will receive.
