This sale is for a. Titus Tuning Fork Electronic F300Hz Watch. Titus Tuning Fork watches were actually made with end of stock Omega parts.

The case is an Omega. 198.0065 and the bracelet 1193/672.

The back cover and clasp are not marked as Omega but the evidence is there with " 672 " on the bracelet ends and the Omega symbol in the middle of the crystal. High grade watch and cutting edge technology of its time. Based around Bullova's Accutron system of using a tuning fork that is vibrated by electro magnets and the vibrations are used as a power source for the watch mechanical parts.

The movement is a Mosaba ESA 9162 which is also used by IWC, Omega, Eternal, Tasso, Zenith, Certina, Baume and Rado as well as others. A real classic and iconic 1970s Swiss watch from the tuning fork stable. Hear the classic Accutron hum when you put the watch to your ear and see the fantastic sweep action second hand. In excellent condition and all original.

These are getting harder to get in nice condition and going up in value. New old stock with some very fine storage marks, please see all pictures.

New battery fitted prior to posting. Age / Circa - Made in Switzerland, Circa 1976. Movement - Swiss quartz Mosaba. Furnished with silver / white hour batons and hands and. Quick set date window at 3.

There is some patina or lifting of the blue finish around the batons. Crystal - Original acrylic glass crystal with Omega symbol in the middle.

Case - All in stainless steel, Polished and brushed finishes with screw back cover. Case Size - 41mm top to bottom 35mm side to side (without crown) and 11mm depth. Bracelet - Original and FULL length bracelet. Stainless steel from solid links.
