Vintage 1960's Military Watch Unitas 6325 Wehrmachtswerk 34mm Unworn NOS

This is a fine 1960's men's watch branded Military. This is not really a military watch, rather a fine and elegant civilian dress piece.

It does have a military grade hand winder movement, the Unitas 6325. Movements which qualified as "Wehrmachtswerk" were from only made by four manufacturers. Most notably AS and Unitas and also a few movements by Girard Perregaux and Precimax. Initially, these movements met the requirements imposed by the military in the 30s and 40s of movements. This should have 13''' (29,33mm) diameters and were for that time movements quite large in order to ensure better accuracy and sturdiness. In addition, the dimensions for the assembly into the case and the dial had to have the same dimensions. Built-in diameter, bearing surface height and positions of the dial-feet had to be the same. Case measures 34mm without crown. New Old Stock and unworn.
