Vintage 1971 NOS Bulova Caravelle N1 Sea Hunter 666 Devil Diver SERVICED

Vintage 1971 (N1) "New Old Stock condition" Bulova Caravelle Sea Hunter 666 Devil Diver. Original "Jet" or "Arrow" Second Hand, hands, dial, "C" (Caravelle) signed crown, non functioning lume... New gaskets, cleaned, lubricated, regulated to time well within original specs. The Date flips over at midnight. No "Quick Set" Date setting (normally the middle setting on the stem) on this model..

The Date can be adjusted manually by flipping back and forth between 9pm and 12am. The original stem gasket had melted. I removed the material and installed a new stem gasket see the last picture! I installed a new silicone repop of the classic "Tropic" style strap on it. I also finished the "top" of the buckle to match the top (brushed) surface of the bezel (see the 5th picture).

37.7mmw x 42.9mm h x 12.7mm d (excluding the crown). Nice contemporary size and presence. The pictures don't do it justice...

The matte black dial and strap are a great understated match. The chamfered bezel edge adds a "jeweled" effect to the look. Especially in this "mint" condition.
