Milus and Its History Milus is a Swiss luxury watchmaker which has been around since the early parts of the 1900s. And it is for this reason why the brand has long been affiliated with quality watches that are being supported by many people for many years; this plus the fact that the brand has been able to produce several quality products. The Milus brand first started in 1919.

It was started by Paul William Junod in a place called Bienne, Switzerland. The reason why he created such a brand is because he was inspired by the surrounding watch making culture in his area. As a result, he created his own brand of quality timepieces that all embody a lasting heirloom and appealing aesthetics.

And with this, each of the timepieces is all a symbol of emotion and technique. Along with this, these watches create a lasting beauty that truly celebrates what each individual's personality is. With the success of a brand such as Milus, it was only natural that they produce a marvelous watch collection that consisted of diverse models for both men and women. The timepieces of this generation though, are priced below 10,000 francs. These watches contain new gold and steel lines. Meanwhile, the watches that contain diamonds or platinum have prices between 100,000 and 250,000 francs. As the brand continues to produce quality watches, it is clear that these products will forever be identifiable with the watches which Milus has been creating. And with such precision and aesthetic beauty, the brand has been able to combine pieces that are all a product of their hard work. Now that the brand is part of The Swatch Group, more watches have been produced under the name Milus. 1951 - Paul Herbert Junod After the death of the founder Paul William Junod in 1951, his son Paul Herbert took over management of the family business. In 1961 a new company headquarters was built at Route de Reuchenette 19 in Biel. 1970 - Rose d'Or de Baden-Baden award for the La Mer model 1971 - Rose d'Or de Baden-Baden award for the Montre de Poche model 1973 - Rose d'Or de Baden-Baden award for the Avant-Garde model 1982 - Paul and Pierre Junod In 1982 Paul Herbert Junod handed over the company to his two sons Paul and Pierre Junod, who complemented each other perfectly in the management and further development of the company. While Pierre devoted himself to the financial affairs of the business, Paul, the technician and extremely talented engineer and graduate of the celebrated Biel School of Watchmaking, continually developed innovative shapes as well as a new design concept for the Milus brand. A Milus watch communicates the personality of its owner; the aesthetic aspect must predominate, and must never be overshadowed by perfect mastery of the technology. In 2000 the brand was finally chosen and nominated for the special edition The 50 brands of the Swiss watch industry in the 20th century.
