Vintage Sir Pendleton Tartan Plaid Shirt, New Old Stock w Orig Box, Men L, USA. This is a very handsome Pendleton wool tartan plaid shirt that appears to be in immaculate, original condition.

The shirt is in the original blue and gold Pendleton shirt box. The shirt is a tartan plaid on a red ground with green, blue, black, gold, and white stripes forming the plaid pattern. The fabric is 100% pure virgin wool and the garment was made in the U.

This is the Sir Pendleton model with a straight collar and one open chest pocket. The box and shirt tag show a item number of A021-152.

Sir Pendleton is a lighter weight, smooth and luxurious wool shirt. The version of the Pendleton tag on this shirt was in use from 1970 to 1994.

The box does show some shelf wear. It has some bends, and the top is pushed in as if something sat on top of it. This shirt has never been worn. In fact, it has never been unpinned or unfolded. It is in a plastic bag inside the box.

I have not unpackaged the shirt to take measurements. It is a men's size Large. Pendleton website information indicates a current men's Large shirt fits a chest body measurement of 42-45. However, I understand that vintage Pendleton shirts run a bit smaller. Please see the photos to judge the quality and condition of this shirt.
